I am in the investment banking analyst program and am a member of the Consumer & Retail team.

 

What is your educational background?

I graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in May 2010.

 

What do you like most about working at William Blair?

What I like most about working at William Blair is the entrepreneurial culture and level of responsibility that is given to employees. Despite being a young professional and recent graduate, I am exposed to a significant amount of client interaction and am encouraged to share my ideas with the senior team. This experience and level of responsibility is truly unique for an investment banking analyst program.

 

Describe a "typical" day.

With new transactions and assignments surfacing every day, I look forward to learning new concepts and gaining new experiences. With this said, a couple of common tasks I might perform on a typical day include valuation analyses and the preparation of marketing materials, such as offering memoranda and management presentations.
